A bold silhouette — is inspired by the famous Egyptian singer of the Middle East Umm Kulthum. Her music lulled the life of many. A universally flattering rectangular frame in a true black color-way is fabricated to deliver premium comfort. Featuring meticulously carved gilt filigree end-pieces, the Khaltoum’s hinges are done up in a light-catching reflective gold, which is repeated in the temple’s statement NK logo created exclusively for The Bledi Collection. The intricate detailing references arabesques found in the delicate lattice work of moucharabieh windows typical of residences in North Africa and the Middle East. Inspired by traditional Arab architecture from Tunisia and beyond, The Bledi Collection — Arabic for ‘my home’ — introduces a rich cultural perspective to the designer eyewear space and captures designer Nesrine Khemiri deep connection to Tunisia, where she spent much of her teenage years. 100% UVA/UVB
